My last computer was a medium size IBM server that ran for 10 years 24-7 and never had a problem other than having to replace a hard drive. After reading many reviews, I was having a hard time choosing what to replace it with. I decided on the Lenovo ThinkServer, installed a 240 gig SSD as primary and a WD 1 terrabite secondary, and added 8 gig of ram for 12 gig total. Installed Windows 7 Pro as I am an old school computer tech(retired now). All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is everything I had hoped it could be and more. Fast, whisper quiet, and just plain wonderful. I have 4 external drives hooked up to it totaling 6 terrabites, and it handles everything with ease. It might seem strange to use a server as a personal computer, but if you want a dependable unit, this is an ideal way to go.
