This is my 3rd iMac, so I knew just what to expect. It did not disappoint. I was a staunch Mac hater for several years. There was just nothing about them to justify the steep price that had to be paid for them. After years of pestering.......and replacing my 3rd PC in about 6 or 7 years, I finally gave in to my wife, and we got a Mac. Well, as usual, she was right. It is a bit of a learning curve to figure out the difference in the layout of the O.S., but it's actually pretty easy. Apple products are so integrated with each other, and they all just work together seamlessly. If you are tired of fighting with PC's, trying to get them to work as advertised, then do what I did, and toss that thing in the garbage, and buy a Mac. They just work. If you're a Nick Burns type who wants to fiddle with everything constantly, then Macs are not for you. If, however, you are like me, and just want to plug it in, and have it do what it's supposed to do, then you will never regret switching. If there is one negative with this model over the older iMacs, it's that there is no built in disk drive. You have to by an external, which costs an additional $75 if you need one.
